What I’m All About

Cups of Solace is a place to share and explore in the difficult terrain of navigating your life after a death. Beginners welcome.

This project grew out of a calling to share the resources of what I know about navigating grief from a psychologist's perspective, a fellow griever, and a Black girl who was told her grief needed to be silenced instead of shared with the world.

My goal is simple: to be your virtual shoulder to lean on. I share personal stories, tips, and resources to help you deal with grief in your own unique way. And yeah, sometimes a meme or a funny anecdote because laughter can be a soothing balm for a heavy heart.

My Promise:

  • No Judgement: We're all different, and there's no "right" way to grieve. You won't find any judgment here. Whether you're crying, laughing, or feeling lost, it's all okay.

  • Real Talk: We're not into sugarcoating things. Grief can be ugly, messy, and confusing, and we won't shy away from it. But we're also here to remind you that there's light at the end of the tunnel.

  • Supportive Community: We're building a community of folks who understand what you're going through. Share your story, ask questions, or just vent—it's a safe space.
